I am passionate about developing and implementing marketing strategies that enable companies to achieve their goals and establish a strong brand identity. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with C-level executives and talented professionals, allowing me to learn constantly.
I have always been passionate about advertising, which is where I began my career. Working for advertising agencies allowed me to collaborate with competent marketers, and this helped me gain experience in all areas of marketing.
After studying and working in the US, I returned to Brazil to start my boutique agency, Comcept, to specialize in marketing and communication services for sports-related organizations. During this period, I helped lead Adidas to Top of Mind 2010 (the most important brand awareness index in Brazil), and sealed global endorsement deals between Kaka (FIFA Best Player of the Year in 2007) with Santander and Gillette. I also helped make Netshoes the biggest e-commerce site related to sports in Brazil. After leading major projects for sports-related events like the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games, I decided to sell my company just before the major events in Brazil.
In 2012, I took a one-year break in Canada, during which I specialized in Digital Marketing and graduated with distinction from the New Media and Design program at BCIT. After completing my studies, I was invited to work for a startup in Vancouver, where I gained further expertise in digital marketing and e-commerce. This experience also allowed me to lead a team of marketers from diverse backgrounds.
Later, I landed a job where I established a marketing department from scratch to promote WorkBC, a prominent employment program for Canada's Provincial and Federal governments. In my current position as a Senior Marketing Manager. I have led initiatives resulting in $3.8M in annual revenue and achieved the following during my time at WorkBC:
Created a content marketing plan that resulted in a 120% increase in social media engagement.
Grew our community and increased social media presence by 215% with over 15K Facebook followers.
Developed an integrated digital marketing strategy that boosted client acquisition by 15% YoY.
Launched the WorkBC Podcast.
Planned and promoted the annual Vancouver Job Fair for over 2K attendees and 65 employers.
Produced YouTube ads and over 20 Success Story videos for YouTube and social media with 15K views.
